What's Right For You?

Which is right for me, a Medicare Supplement or an Advantage Plan? This is the question a lot of people ask when they start thinking about Medicare.

There are some very distinct differences between the two that have to be explored before choosing the right plan for you.

A Medicare Supplemental policy is going to provide the most security, from a cost standpoint, each month. What I mean by that is: you know each month what you will have to pay from a premium standpoint and the cost if you have to go to the doctor.

An Advantage policy, otherwise known as Part C, may have a premium as low as $0.00, but if you go to the doctor, or have to go into the hospital, then you could be looking at higher payments to the doctor or hospital.

Everybody's situation is different and that's why it is important to talk to an unbiased, licensed agent that will take the time to go over your options and make sure you understand how Medicare will cover you, and make sure you have all of the information you need so that you can make the right decision for you.
