Annual Enrollment Period is just around the corner.

AEP is coming up fast; it starts October 15th and ends on Dec. 7th. For those of you that have been on Medicare for a while now, you know that this is the time when you go over your options for 2019 Part D plans and Medicare Advantage. For those on a Medigap plan, this does not affect you because you can switch Medigap policies anytime during the year.

If you are currently on a Medicare Advantage policy but wish to switch back to traditional Medicare and a Supplement, then it may be time to look into your options and what is available to you. The commercials are starting to ramp up about those free Medicare plans-please keep in mind, there is no free Medicare plan out there. You may find an Advantage plan that has no monthly premium, but you will have co pays and such to pay. Read the fine print!
