A Few Words About the Annual Enrollment Period

August 27, 2018

 Good morning all,

I hope all is well in your world. We are now just over a month and a half until the Annual Enrollment Period.

The Annual Enrollment Period, or AEP, is the time when you can go over their options for the following year. AEP is for people on a Medicare Advantage Plan or a Part D prescription plan. If you are on a Medicare Supplemental plan or Medigap you do not have to worry about AEP, but you do need to make sure you have the best Part D plan for you. As we get older our health care needs change and it is important that you have someone going over all of your options and making sure you have the coverage that is right for you. That is your agent's job and responsibility- to make sure you are properly covered.

Please keep in mind that there are no free Medicare plans available to you, unless you are on Medicaid. There are no-monthly-premium plans available, but they are not free. I touched on this in previous blogs.

If you have any questions about anything to do with Medicare please give me a call or send me an email. I would be happy to talk with you about all things Medicare and give you the information you need to choose the right plan for you. Whether you are new to Medicare, or have been on it for a few years, I will be able to go over all of your options and make sure you have the right plan at the right price.

No gimmicks, no pressure, and no cost, just a conversation and providing the good, the bad, and the ugly about your options.

Do something nice for someone today, just because.

All the best,

Randy
