Happy Yoga Day!
It seems there's a special day dedicated to everything, now, but who doesn't love yoga? With benefits ranging from low-impact on joints to better posture and stability, yoga is worth a shoutout!
Yoga's roots date back to around 1000 BCE and has been found useful in maintaining physical mobility and functional independence. Over the years, it has been adapted to help with several maladies such as chronic pain, stroke rehabilitation and heart failure recovery, to name a few. It's quite versatile and allows you to move at your own pace. As always, check with your practitioner before starting any training.
