NEW COSTS RELEASED!

Good news, well the fact there is news is good, the news itself not so much.

They have released the 2024 Medicare numbers and they are as follows:

Part B will be $174.70 a month for most people on Medicare.

The Part B deductible will increase to $240.00.

*If your income is higher, you will be paying more for your Part B and Part D, which is known as IRMAA.

Part A will still be $0.00 for most folks, as long as you or your spouse has worked 10 years in your lifetime at a job that took out Medicare taxes.

The Inpatient Hospitalization deductible will increase to $1632.00.

Days 61-90 will now be $408.00

Days 91-150 will now be $816.00

If you have a Supplement, then you will not have to worry about the Part A portion as it will be covered by your Supplemental or Medigap plan.
